We are going to focus on theme this week. 1. Read "Revenge of the Gods" in the December 2019/January 2020 Storyworks issue. 2. Complete theme page. 3. We will meet Wednesday on Zoom to do the play together and go over answers.
THIS IS FOR A GRADE.
1. Visit Freckle. 2. Read about Annie Oakley. 3. Complete the reading AND writing tasks. 1. Read everyone's paragraphs in the comments.
2. Write a comment under each person's paragraph telling what structure you think they used. 1. Read "The Great Stink" in the May/June issue of Storyworks.
2. Write a paragraph about the article using a text structure of your choice. 3. Comment on this post by typing your paragraph. (Do not email.) Things to remember: 1. Make your text structure obvious with key words and phrases. Don't try to trick or challenge your classmates. 2. Do not copy the text. Please paraphrase the information. 3. Double check that your typed paragraph has accurate punctuation and capitalization. 4. You may not be able to indent in the comment section. That is okay. 5. Check your spelling. Do your best. Make sure words from the article are spelled correctly. Solve the puzzle by using the columns of letters below the puzzle to fill in the empty boxes. Once you use a letter from that column, cross it off. Each letter in a column is used only once and are in no particular order. Sometimes your words may wrap around to the next line. Good luck!
